What an amazing venue! I've never seen another like it. It looks as though every seat in the house was a luxury seat.
The "punters" sit in the cheap seats on the end near the 4th turn. It only costs $10 HK dollars (about US$1.20) for the cheapest seats. The Hong Kong Jockey club makes its money on betting.
The track is immaculately clean and the only racing is on Wednesday nights. Notice the surrounding skyscrapers - this land is worth a fortune.
