We visited Hong Kong for a week in February, staying at the Park Hotel in Kowloon. This is a clean, comfortable, three-star hotel built in the early 1960's. We've stayed there four times and recommend it. When you arrive at Hong Kong's airport purchase an Octopus Card from the kiosk on the way to the trains (not from a machine). The card is good for ferries, trams, subway and buses, and you can recharge its value at any 7-11 store. You sell the unused value back at the airport when you leave.
