From the Star Ferry Terminal in Central a short walk past the post office leads you to the Central bus terminal, where you can board the #6 double-decker bus to Stanley. Get a front seat on the top deck if you can because the winding, hilly trip is half the fun. The Stanley Market offers good bargaining, good places to eat lunch on the little main street overlooking the harbour, and great views. The bus route goes by spectacular apartments in Repulse Bay, and huge hillside cemeteries overlooking Hong Kong.
