On Friday, 20 april 2007 we took an EML leave aboard a C-12 from Marine Corps Air Station Futenma in Okinawa to MCAS Iwakuni. We spent two nights at Iwakuni's Monzen Lodge and then traveled by train to Kure Pier 6 where we stayed at the Army's 83rd Ordnance billeting for three nights. Then we returned to Iwakuni for two more nights before returning to Okinawa. We traveled by Marine Corps C-12 aircraft, taxis, trains, ferry, streetcar, cable car, Army van and UC-35 Marine corps Lear Jet. We had a great time.
