The Marines at Camp Kinser sponsored a luncheon in June 2005 for visiting Army, Marine, Navy and Red Cross veterans of the battle of Okinawa on its 60th anniversary in June 2005. USMC MAJ Ron "Rangoon" Dennard and SSG Deuto displayed their private collections of WWII equipment.
