Hawk bill and leatherback sea turtles are an endangered species thought to live more than a century. They lay their eggs on Okinawa beaches and the adults swim from Japan to Baja, California and return to the beach where they were hatched to lay their eggs. This turtle hatched at Torii Beach in July 2004.
